Our Story

It all started on the sun-kissed island of Mauritius, where our owner Westley made a bold choice: swapping his soccer boots for a pastry bag to follow a newfound passion - baking. Captivated by the art and precision of French patisserie, he trained and spent years perfecting the craft. After moving to Australia in 2007, he continued to blend the rich flavors of his Mauritian heritage with his French training, creating something truly unique.

In 2020, that dream came to life with the opening of Mei’s Patisserie—a place where people from all walks of life can enjoy freshly made, authentic pastries, without the fuss. Each morning, our day starts with the careful selection of quality ingredients, ensuring every bite is packed with the unforgettable flavor our customers love.
